The windows are commenced on the second day, which has been programmed in for 2 days from start to completion.

Due to a change in the Project Manager from Lawtech ano

ther site meeting was arranged as there were changes to the agreed scaffold staging and installation. The scaffold was duley altered 1^st thing today with thanks to Kingsnorth Scaffolding.

Daniel Ready our Project Manager was in discussion with the new Project Manager of Lawtech and discussions again made about the agreed window seal insulation and finished detail.

The Vacuum Insulated Panels (VIPS) are being installed in their pre machined panels. We laid them in a picture frame style then laid 15mm Celotex, cut to the perimeters and door freeholds. This mainly ensures that carpet gripper or nails do not penetrate the VIPs and make it fail.

The VIPs were laid over a 1200 gauge polythene membrane which had been stuck to the walls and laid onto the ground floor around the perimeters.

At the end of today a call was put into our Consultants over the VIPs and we were informed that the VIPS were to have a timber floor laid over. This came as a surprise but not a big issue for our Company and we have programmed it for tomorrow morning 1^st thing.
