About Travis Perkins and Sustainable Building Solutions

Established in 2010, Sustainable Building Solutions (SBS) is a division of Travis Perkins plc, set up to provide help, support and expert technical assistance to the construction industry.
SBS offers an Integrated Approach to providing solutions for your Energy Efficient Building and Renewable Energy projects. We don’t just sell products, we provide technical advice, specifications, services and training to enable you to complete any Sustainability project.

Solutions – we offer New-build, Retrofit and Repair & Maintenance energy efficient and compliant solutions, with a fabric first approach, supported through client and industry research.
Services – we provide many services to help you deliver your project. A short selection includes: BRE-accredited Architect drawings for CSH Level 3 Sustainable Homes; Sustainable Construction and Renewables Training Courses; Assessment for Ground Source Heat Pumps; Renewables Design; Standard Assessment Procedure; and Air Tightness Testing.
Products – we provide a broad range of products, from Building Fabric to Water Management, and from Eco Materials to Renewable Energy Technologies.

Our aims are to prevent pollution, reduce carbon emissions, cut down on waste and increase the amount of certified, well-managed timber we buy.
We manage our activities to achieve these aims through our environmental management system which is certified to the international standard ISO 14001 and we maintain a certified chain of custody for both the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) timber standards, so that our customers can feel confident about the timber they buy from us.
